Obsessed with this place. Great option for midtown lunch if you don't mind the usual wait. High quality and delicious healthy options in form of poke bowls accompanied by comfort food options including hot dogs and waffle fries. Friendly service. Also the best shakes I've ever had. Sons of Thunder never disappoints.
This place is close to my office and the UN, so the location is good.
The place is not that big but clean, modern, and homey. Nicely arrange table, gives the feeling of a spacious room and it even has some books for kids.
I like the rice bowls with salmon and ahi tuna over the brown rice and spicy sauce. The kids love the hotdogs and fries obviously, and the shakes. It can be crowded during lunch time but it's not that crazily packed
Strange name, but great poke bowls. They're beer options are also good, but the focus is really the Hawaiian/Japanese bowls. There are basic hot-dogs which are fairly priced and good for the kids, but other options (such as tacos) are not playing to their strength.
There is a large, well-lit seating area at the back with a tiny children's book and toy space.
This is definitely my new favorite place! I’ve had dinner there a few times and it gets more and more delicious every time I go. The food doesn’t take super quick to prepare, but it’s because they take time to prepare a fresh meal for you. Love it!!!!
Holy cow! So good. Completely took me by surprise. The seaweed salad is delicious. I thought the tuna was just a bit better than the salmon, but they were both fantastic. Get the spicy sauce on the side.
this cosy poke place is worth to try and one of the best in town claimed by a local poke enthusiast. it better be because i walked across 5 avenues and 20 street blocks to get here. if you dont feel like having raw fish they have limited hot dogs and tacos servings and last but not least SOFT SERVE and SHAKES
Great poke! The salmon is fresh and somehow tastes a little more fatty than others which is the best part in my opinion. They don’t have different sauces but their own marinate is well fitted. The marinate sauce is a little inconsistent at times. Not a huge deal but it’d great if it’s more consistent.
good food here. I went yesterday because of front sign. Looks very clean and comfort atmosphere. They serve Poke & Hot dogs, and milk shake! Noce lunch place.
Pro : good food
